VMware Fusion Pro

VMware Fusion Pro lets you run Windows, Linux, and other operating systems on your Mac without rebooting. This can be useful if you occasionally need a Windows-only program, want to test software, or need access to a PC environment while continuing to use your Mac.

VMware Fusion Pro now supports Windows 11 on newer Macs with Apple silicon, as well as Intel-based Macs. It can be a good option for running programs such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access, specialized business software, or older Windows applications that do not have Mac versions.

VMware Fusion Pro is now available free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial use. However, setting it up still requires a copy of Windows if you want to run Windows, and performance depends on the age and power of your Mac.
